Crystal Core Era — In Incubation

Value Is Not on a Chain.
It Lives in the Fabric
of the Lattice.

The world's first decentralized value network built on topological gauge field physics. No blockchain. No hash puzzles. Just quantum lattice dynamics, vortex topology, and Langevin annealing — a complete reinvention of money from first principles.

"What if Satoshi Nakamoto was never born? What if blockchain was never invented? We started over — from the equations of condensed matter physics — and discovered that value has a deeper home: in the topology of a quantum lattice."

Six Paradigm Shifts
That Redefine Value Transfer

Every component of the Crystal Net protocol was invented from scratch.

No Blocks, No Chains

State is stored in frozen snapshots of a 2D phase lattice. The "chain" is replaced by a sequence of physical relaxation events. Every Stratum is a genuine energy minimum.

Topological Ledger

Accounts are controllable topological defects (vortices) in the lattice. Balance = |topological charge|. The conservation law of topology prevents double-spending at the physics level.

Truly Useful Work

Annealers use CPU parallel compute to simulate Langevin dynamics and find low-energy configurations. Every FLOP directly serves transaction ordering — zero waste, no ASIC advantage.

Ultra-Light Verification

Annealers run 80 CPU Langevin steps (≈16s). Verifiers run 3 energy checks (≈30ms). A ~500:1 computational asymmetry ensures security on consumer-grade CPUs.

WRC Triple-Type Assets

Three native asset types: WRC-Vortex (vortex, splittable/mergeable), WRC-Defect (defect, non-splittable), WRC-Valley (valley, multi-instance). Maps cleanly to ERC-20/721/1155.

Quintuple Security Gate

Attack cost is a four-fold composite: stake capital + physical compute + topological identity + post-quantum break. CRYSTALS-Dilithium + STARK (27 queries, 8× blowup, BLAKE3-256). Quantum-resistant from Day 1.

From Transaction to Consensus
in Four Physical Steps

01

Vortex Injection

Each transaction is encoded as a pair of ± topological vortices. The lattice fills with stress — energy rises.

+q−q
02

CPU Annealing

Annealers run Langevin dynamics on parallel CPU — 80 steps, ~16s. Temperature cools. Energy plunges.

03

Stratum Freezing

When the gradient vanishes, the lattice freezes. A snapshot is taken — this is the new Stratum, carrying global transaction order.

FROZEN
04

CPU Verification

Any CPU node verifies the Stratum in three lightweight checks: energy, stability, and trajectory spot-check. Done in milliseconds.

CRC + WSU
Dual-Token Architecture

CRC Crystal Core

Native Value Token

  • Issuance: Earned exclusively by running CPU annealing
  • Reward: R(E) = R‚ × exp(−αE/Eŧ) — lower energy, higher reward
  • Supply: Fisher elastic supply — dynamic total_supply driven by energy oracle, not hardcoded
  • Fair Launch: Zero pre-mine. Zero VC allocation. 100% community-produced.
  • Public Fund: 50% to migration incentive pool (BTC/ETH bridge rewards + LP + airdrop, ~18mo); 50% to bounty/audit/reserve

WSU Weave Stable Unit

Energy-Anchored Stablecoin

  • Anchor: Decentralized energy oracle (annealer median vote) — not pegged to fiat
  • Elastic: Supply expands/contracts with global compute/energy costs via Fisher mechanism
  • Unique Property: Naturally anchored to physical compute/energy costs
  • Inflation Hedge: Energy costs are structurally correlated with economic activity
  • WRC Type: Issued as WRC-Vortex (splittable/mergeable, ERC-20 compatible)

Three-Phase BTC Bridge
Progressive Trust Minimization

A bridge channel between Bitcoin and Crystal Net. Users lock BTC on Bitcoin L1, and an equivalent WRC-Vortex wBTC is minted on the lattice. The bridge evolves in three phases — from economic-incentive custody, to challenge-response, to pure cryptographic finality — progressively replacing human trust with math.

Why three phases? The terminal design (ZK + Taproot) is not yet production-ready on Bitcoin. Rather than wait, we ship a viable bridge on day one and upgrade trust-minimization step by step. Every phase guarantees attack cost > attack gain; each later phase is strictly stronger than the previous.

PHASE 1 0–6 Months

Multisig + Staking

Trust model: 7-of-13 annealer honesty

  • Lock: User sends BTC to a 13-key multisig address on Bitcoin L1; the lattice mints equivalent wBTC.
  • Unlock: User burns wBTC on the lattice; 7 of 13 annealers co-sign to release BTC.
  • Custodian: 13 annealers elected by compute power (Vortex Council seats).
  • Security: Collective stake > 150% of bridged assets; fraudulent signatures trigger slashing + emergency freeze (9-of-13, 14 days).
PHASE 2 6–18 Months

BitVM Challenge-Response

Trust model: 1-of-N honest challenger

  • Lock: Same as Phase 1 — BTC locked on L1, wBTC minted on lattice.
  • Unlock: Withdrawer submits a BitVM assertion (bridge logic compiled to Bitcoin script); a challenge window opens. If no challenger disproves it, BTC releases automatically.
  • Custodian: No custodian — verification moves on-chain onto Bitcoin L1.
  • Security: A single honest challenger anywhere on the network suffices to block any fraudulent withdrawal.
PHASE 3 18 Months+

ZK + Taproot Adaptor

Trust model: cryptographic, zero-trust

  • Lock: Same — BTC locked on L1, wBTC minted on lattice.
  • Unlock: Lattice generates a ZK proof of wBTC burn; embedded into a Taproot adaptor signature. Bitcoin script verifies the proof on-chain and releases BTC instantly — no challenge window, no custodian.
  • Custodian: None — pure cryptography guarantees finality.
  • Security: Forging a ZK proof is computationally infeasible. This is the terminal design — no further trust reduction possible.

Incentive alignment: The migration incentive pool (50% of public fund) funds BTC/ETH bridge rewards + LP + early airdrops, exhausted in ~18 months — exactly spanning Phase 1 to Phase 2 transition, bootstrapping liquidity before the bridge reaches its terminal trust-minimized form.
